2. For Saturday May 20th at Hispanic Cultural Center.

The second annual New Mexico Science Fiesta (formerly known as the ABQ STEM Fiesta) will be an exciting way to engage families and celebrate the importance of science and engineering in our communities.

We invite you to join us in providing hands-on activities at the 2017 New Mexico Science Fiesta on Saturday, May 20 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Tiguex Park, in Albuquerque’s Old Town.

This year’s event also kicks off Albuquerque’s “Launch2Learn Summer Adventure Passport”, a program designed to provide connected learning activities across Albuquerque and promote healthy living during the summer months.

3. Monday April 24th at JCC

Patty Meyer, a program from the Supercomputing Challenge ( http://supercomputingchallenge.org/16-17/// )and one of your greatest fans! A few years back I worked at the very first Maker faire and attended a few of your workshops at the old house facility. I have worked with Bandit Gangwere and Drew Einhorn.

I am interested is asking the Quelab to either bring a whiz bang activity or demo up to the JCC in Albuquerque on April 24th from 9-1. We will have this years competing teams (around 200 students from around NM) to view tech demos or participate in an activity. Students would come by in small groups and participate. The other option is to have the students come in small groups down to the QUELAB to do exciting Tech things.

Why QUELAB? We want to expose students to the Maker community resource and get some publication about the QUELAB to the Tech community.

Are you interested? Can you accommodate us?

4. No date set: Cynthia, Nederland, and I'm a high school teacher at technology leadership high school here in Albuquerque. My students are currently taking an introductory class in solid works, and I thought it might be an awesome experience for them to experience class as a school trip excuse me. I was wondering if you could accommodate up to 60 students what days would be best to schedule a field trip if they're time a day that works best weather be in the morning or afternoon also do you by demonstration and are there opportunities for the students to have some hands on experience, so I know lots of questions, but thanks.

  • 5. And I am working on 2 date at the Railyard Market this summer! Maker Faire & Quelab have been represented every year at the Railyard Market and according to them we are the most requested guest artists at the Market!
