Board Chair

The chair of the board of directors is the facilitator for the directors' meetings, and also is the face of the board for public appearances.

The Board Chair is third in succession (after the Vice President) for the position of President. When the board chair is serving in this capacity, they are acting President, and are not expected to retain the position for the remainder of the previous President's term.

The term of the Board Chair is one year, elected by the Directors from amongst their number, and is selected after the annual board election and the onboarding of the new directors.
