    • A couple of thefts or losses have been happening lately

    • 95 Total members, about 76 full time members
    • Continuing transition from Geoff to Josh
    • Getting rid of PayPal
  • Education: Darrel Knutson
    • The Woodworking class scheduled for February – March has been cancelled for lack of students. We only had one person sign up and I will work with him for a later class or individual training.
    • There is a Welding class that started yesterday, Feb 4, that will last for a month. We are revamping the Welding class as discussed at the officers meeting last week and will be offering it starting in March.
    • As always, if you have a passion and would like to share it please let me know. I have sent out an email to the membership requesting interest in several possibilities. I will continue to ask for volunteers but will now also offer direct compensation for instructors as per the officers consensus.

  • Current membership is up to 132, consisting of 10 associates, 28 students, 93 sustaining members, and 1 director. We have 19 new members in the last 30 days, and 15 pending members awaiting orientation.

    • Library event Yesterday went well
    • This Saturday, Nuclear Museum STEM day, need more people
    • March 18 Intergalactic Cultural Celebration – taste hacking or ?
    • March 22 – Spring Break Family Day and Drones Rule !!! Troy is going to hold a Learn to Fly a DRONE class and it is likely he could use some help. And if others makers what to show what they are working on please let me know.
    • March 25 Ballooning for All – 505 Access will be on hand with some hands on activities.
  • Upcoming events Quelab is part of these.

    • Occupancy permit for Quelab–I did visit the Albuquerque Building department and understand the process for how to submit for an occupancy permit, and the specifics.
    • New work area lights for welding area–through the efforts of Will Smith, the welding instructor, 2 new LED work lights were installed in the welding area.

    • Problems with rental amounts in WildApricot. Josh now has access to correct these, and these problems should be fixed soon. This all should be resolved now, and from this point forward, correct space rent for appropriate members should be better automated now.

Sorry it can’t be sooner, I’m in the process of moving my mom from Silver City to next door, plus my job is the albatross around my neck at the moment.
