The term of office for the Outreach Steward is one year, and is appointed by the board with the advice of the President.

The responsibilities of the Outreach Steward are as follows:

• Identify key partners and events for partnerships
• Work collaboratively to develop and coordinate ongoing local and national outreach efforts
• Help maintain a list of outreach contacts
• Prepare a quarterly report of outreach activities for the Board
• Coordinate with other stewards/board members on issues regarding outreach
