The term of office for the Director of Outreach is one year, and is appointed by the board with the advice of the President.

The responsibilities of the Director of Outreach are as follows:

• Identify key partners and events for partnerships
• Work collaboratively to develop and coordinate ongoing local and national outreach efforts
• Coordinate with the Business Development Officer to identify and target key partnerships for funding opportunities
  • Help maintain a list of outreach contacts
  • Prepare a quarterly report of outreach activities for the Board
• Coordinate with other officers/board members on issues regarding outreach
