Social Media & Communications
The term of the Social Media & Communications officer is one year, and is appointed by the board with the advice of the President.
The responsibilities of the Social Media & Communications Officers are as follows:
- Coordinate communications across our online resources, including, but not limited to:
- Twitter
- Eventbrite
- Tinyletter
- Facebook
- Instagram
- Meetup
- Quelab's blog
- Quelab’s email lists
- Promote upcoming events online
- Promote upcoming events to media contact list
- Add blog content weekly (about Quelab or other topics such as 3D printing)
- Proactively outreach to local media
- Coordinate with other officers/board members on issues regarding communications
- Identify and document secondary Communications Officer
