Fiber Arts Room Steward

The term of office for the Fiber Arts Room Steward is one year, and is appointed by the board with the advice of the President.

The responsibilities of the Fiber Arts Room Steward are as follows:

• Organize fiber arts room layout
  • Track Member Owned Property tags and follow up with abandoned projects
  • Disperse materials donated to the fiber arts room
• Organize cleaning of the fiber arts room
• Coordinate basic use and safety training and for tool usage within the fiber arts room
• Be a point of contact for the board, membership, and wider public for questions regarding usage of the fiber arts room and equipment therein
• Coordinate with other stewards/board members on issues regarding the fiber arts room
• Serve as a member of the Facilities Workgroup for any issues regarding the fiber arts room
